Eurogear Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will begin offering UNIT 1 products in Japan as the brand’s exclusive distributor for the Japanese market.

About UNIT 1
UNIT 1 is a helmet and mobility safety equipment brand founded in Argentina in 2017 and now operated globally from its base in Madrid, Spain.
The brand is built around two core principles:

With the rise of e-bikes, these helmets have obtained NTA 8776 certification, a new bicycle safety standard designed for high-speed impacts at up to 45 km/h. In independent safety testing conducted by Virginia Tech, they also received the highest rating in the smart helmet category.
In 2017, UNIT 1 received investment from the LEAD Accelerator, operated by the Adidas family. In 2023, the brand launched its then-latest smart helmet, AURA, on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, where it raised approximately $750,000 (about ¥120 million at an exchange rate of ¥160 to the dollar), earning strong recognition from supporters around the world.
